Below is the link to a great article in the Leitrim Observer on how the IWAI Carrick Branch has made our wonderful waterways accessible to all via the very successful Carrick Cares Day. This in no small part is due to the wonderful efforts of our members and the volunteers who made it happen.
Please note a change of date due to a clash with a lesser sporting event taking place in Croke Park on the 1st! New date is 8th October, same time (6pm) in the Bowling Centre in Carrick.
Below is a link to the Draft Flood Risk Management Plan for both the lower and upper Shannon as highlighted at last week-ends Branch meeting.
You will need to accept the OPW’s disclaimer before proceeding and then selecting and choosing the Draft Flood Risk Management Plan (Volume I)
