"Delphin" is a GRUNO 38 Royal Dutch Steel Cruiser. Draught 1.05m, Lenght 38ft; AirDraft 2.7m. Crewed by Gerry Byrne (IWAI Carrick-on-Shannon), Phillip Armstrong, Pascal Brennan, Dicey Reilly, and Chris Smith, Delphin completed the Green & Silver route as follows:
Departed Carrick-on-Shannon, 2nd April 2011, arriving Richmond Harbour that day.
03 April to Abbeyshrule;
09 April to Collinahay;
10 April to Riverstown (via Mary Lynch's);
16 April to Lock 14 - problem with gates, wouldn't fully open, suck under Louisa bridge for 1 hour.
20 April moved boat through lock 14 (and left below lock);
23 April Lock 14 to Confey (diver engaged to clean the propellor);
30 April from 12th lock to Shandon gardens;
01 May to Grand Canal Basin
27 May to Mespil Rd,;
28 May to Hazelhatch;
04 June to Robertstown;
05 June to Shee Bridge;
06 June to Pollagh (lifting bridge blocked by tractor for 2 hours);
07 June to Shannon Harbour;
11 June to Banagher to get bearings fixed;
17 June to Shanonbridge;
18 June to Athlone but turned back to Banagher due to bearings problem;
22 July Banagher to Shannonbridge;
23 July to Lecarrow;
24 July back to Richmond Harbour.
