I haven't posted here for a while but I think the following justifies an exception.

I take a little pride (entirely undeserved) that this young guy, on the same class of boat that I sail (an Albin Vega 27) has successfully completed a solo circumnavigation of the Americas under sail. 
NW Passage and Cape Horn
Solo, on a 27 footer. 
Not just the smallest but the first boat to achieve this. 
And for charity. 

A moment's respectful silence from the bargees would be appropriate.
