"Arthur" visits Banagher for weekend...first CIOC of 2010

Took "Arthur" to Banagher for weekend.

Lovely pastoral scenes from Portumna to Banagher.

Passed 'Kilmore Lass' on her maiden voyage from Banagher to Portumna. Unaware at the time of the woes she suffered in Banagher prior to her departure.

Evidence of recent weather visible all around as we headed to Banagher....flooding still evident short of Meelick Lock. And clear signs of flooding at Meelick weir and also at Inishee Island.

Lovely photos, Paul. You have just increased the itch to get back on the water. Conditions looked perfect and the colours of the reed beds in the sunlight are wonderful. Sail on!!

Thanks for taking the time to post your encouraging comments. Glad to know that you enjoyed the photos of "Arthur's" latest travels.

"Arthur" will, hopefully, take to the water again in two weeks time, perhaps in a CIC rather than a CIOC! And I will be there with my cameras.
