Air Draft to Ballinasloe

Air Draft to Ballinasloe

Planning a trip to Ballinasloe next month. I know conditions continuously change, but if someone could give me an idea of the airdraft needed for safe passage, it would be helpful. I have never travelled there before. Regards, CP

This photo of the downstream airdraft gauge at the railway bridge was taken last year on 27th April. The airdraft was around normal with 3.75 metres.
Dermot Killeen reports 2.8 metres river level at the quay wall at Shannonbridge on 28th. [www.shannon-fishery-board.ie]
I hope this helps.

When the wind of change blows, some build walls, others build windmills.
