Great show. Well done to all concerned. Lots of boaters involved in the making too. Well done to Joe Treacy and his son Ben,to Dick Warner,The Connon family and Larry Masterson producer ,a member of the Gortmore Boat Club. I nearly fell when Dick mentioned Effin Bridge. So now it's in print and film. I can't wait to see the next show. I'm sure it'll be on the RTE player for anyone unlucky to miss it. PjN

Hi Billy Not sure about repeated, but it will certainly be available on the RTE player for a month, or so. I was pleasantly surprised to find this is actually well thought out and works very well. It's easier to use than an old fashioned VCR. I approached it warily, a week or so back, to try and find an episode of "Room for Improvement" that I'd missed. Much to my surprise, I found it easily (despite calling it the wrong name!) and played it without hiccup. What I don't know yet, is whether it's possible to download from the player and save for future viewing. An experiment I'm going to try, once "Waterways" becomes available! Duncan

I know! Isn't it great? They'll have to demolish it and build something completely different there, if they ever want to lose the "Effin Bridge" name now! Something to be proud of, naming part of the national infrastructure! I remember having to hold my sides laughing when the name was first applied and hoping it would catch on. Seems I've got my wish... Duncan

I must pass on the effin bridge name to management and put an official sign on it! They've already renamed the Phoenix park stn to navan road/parkway as they realized after countless complaints from tourists and uninitiated that it was nowhere near the Phoenix park!

Let me add my congrats to Dick and the makers of the Rambler programme. Very enjoyable and well put together, though not alltogether in keeping with my memories of June 9th.....LOL Before Rambler finally escaped, she made a number of trips over to Spencer on the offchance that 'Effin Bridge might be persuaded to lift. I recall my eldest, Katie, remarking on its return from one such trip, how ironic it was that a boat named Rambler, should be having so much difficulty rambling anywhere...!!!! M(W&W)F
