Limerick / Shannon Estuary Rally 2012 Posted by OceanFroggie
Hi Folks. An update will be posted on the Rally web site later this week, and anybody who had filled in the online Pre-entry form should receive an email at the same time. Pre-entrants will be given priority to confirm their rally entry online. If there are any spaces free after that I will post a notice on the rally website. Due to the positive response to the Pre-entry process I do not anticipate that further places will become available unless there are cancellations. The rally start date is Fri 29th June in Killaloe. We hope to finalise a date in late April or early may for the "Information" evening in Dublin. This should be announced later this week on the rally website. OceanFroggie
Hi Guys. Yes, apologies. We are still awaiting some technical details fom ESB. The rally is go for starting on the 29 June. Pre-entrants places are secure. Once ESB info is finalised we will be able to schedule the locking times of rally participants through Ardnacrusha. This is the cause of the delay. Info evening will now be early may probably at Poolbeg YC on a week night. OceanFroggie

John, Poolbeg Yacht Club is down on the Pigeon House Road. From the city, drive along Pearse Street, over the Bridge at Ringsend, left at the Church, then first right, then drive on for about two minutes. The club premises is just before you reach the Dublin City Council recycling facility. Regards Kieran
Quote:Hi John. It's just a few hundred meters from the East link tool bridge pay booths. If coming from north side, cross the toll bridge then after the toll barriers take 1st exit on the roundabout heading SE. You will see the boats moored outside the YC as you pass through the toll. If coming fom south side, head for the east link but on the last roundabout near the container port, skip the exit for the bridge and take the next exit onto the culdesac road parallel to the east link.
