Hi Mick,
Seatruck is one of our local ferry companies on carlingford lough running warrenpoint to heysham. they have recently got 2 much bigger boats for their dublin liverpool runs and have invited the branch to go for a look around - fondle the grease nipples and all that down in the dark of the engine room etc. the company is very supportive of the branch and took us at a very competitive rate across the sea on our trip to the manchester ship canal last year. the tour of the dublin boat is for a maximum of 30 and our bus group will only be 23 so if you would like to join us on the ship you'd be welcome. we haven't a firm date set yet for the trip as the ship is still being commissioned. it has to be on a sunday as that is the layover day. i'll let you know when it is. we hope to have a look at a few other canal things in dublin while we're there. glad you enjoyed the ezine. please pass the link on to anyone else interested.
