About on the River

About on the River
12 April, 2012 07:39
Morning from Meelick Quay

The river is very quiet and was over the Easter a few hire boats out and a few private boats of older vintage, not many of the large modern vessels about.

PJ will dry out today
Giles is dryed out for the last few days
Les will be comeing out tomorrow
Mick is locked out of the GCD
Residents in Lowtown were dragged out the other day
Joe T is working out
Colin is taking his filters out
Dave is starting out again

all the activity about would exauste a person, time for another cup of tea and a look over the rail

Regards from a tranquil Meelick Quay smiling smiley

Donal,I didn't dry out today. Maybe tommorrow. I once met a man on 'Boffin. He was waiting for the ferry to come.He was expecting glass from Galway."How long are you waiting",I asked."Oh,about six months, sure it'll be here soon".
All those other people that you have outed today Donal. Have you nothing better to do? Now that you have restored J@M to it's former glory.couldn't you start on the white boat?

p.s. See you on Saturday Night

PJ ,still waiting.
