Dear Fellow Grand Canal Enthusiasts,

This is a quick reminder that the April Grand Canal Clean Up will take
place this Saturday, 14th April '12.

There have been lots of beautiful spring time developments along the Grand
Canal this month. Colourful barges at Mespil Road, a Swan sitting on 5
swan coloured eggs in a fabulous nest near Leeson St. Bridge, little
bumble bee ducklings whizzing around after their feisty
mothers..............

Come along and see it all close up, with a litter picker in your hand and a
delicious cup of coffee in the other.

Time:
10am - 12noon on Saturday 14th April '12

Location:
Leeson St. Bridge (city side at a canal bench).

What do you need to bring?
All you need to bring is your energy and enthusiasm.......we'll have litter
pickers, bags and gloves.
(We even have some new litter pickers this time). Starbucks as usual will
bring their welcome coffee and good things.

Finally, my big thanks to Clive Carroll who painstakingly put up the
"Change of Date" notices along the Canal banks. It's much appreciated

I hope to see you all on Saturday.

Regards

Breffnie
