Subject: Hope you're free to come to the Grand Canal Clean Up on Sat 5th May

Dear Fellow Grand Canal Enthusiasts,
I hope you'll be able to make time for the next Grand Canal Clean Up which
happens this coming weekend.
Details are as follows:
When? 10amm - 12noon on Saturday 5th May '12
Where? Leeson St. Bridge. (meet at a canal bench on the city side)
What?
We'll be picking up litter from along the banks of the Grand Canal for an
hour or two. Then Starbucks will come along and bring us coffee and
biscuits. There's no need for you to bring anything other than your energy
and good will.........we'll have rubbish bags, gloves and litter pickers.
Who knows, maybe by Saturday, the swan sitting on her next near Leeson St.
Bridge, might have hatched a signet or two from that well guarded pile of
eggs.
I'm also happy to attach a flyer about a book sale that's taking place down
in the docklands in May. Every book will be sold for €1 each in aid of
"care in the community" and Dublin City Council are looking for volunteers
to help.
