Many thanks to all who raised the alarm re mollie sinking. Dad has just called me from Carrick to say all is well.

Glad to hear all is well.

It is timely to repeat Mark Maguires excellent suggestion from a few years ago that people should consider displaying a phone number on their boat when left unattended in a public harbour or on an unsupervised mooring.

I have a car insurance disc holder on the windscreen with a card bearing my mobile number. The advantage of this is that you can easily take down the number when on board or change it to another one if you are away and someone else is looking after the boat.
