I would have thought that 'small talk' would be one of the qualifications needed to deal with the tourist public. At least the FAQs were hand written. There would be a greater ambience if he were replaced by a machine.

You raised a very interesting debate

There is no reference to his assistant Lock keeper would drew a lot of
questions when she was "working " that particular lock during SUMMER RELIEF
(I think is the term )

She was a Woopa !!!!

Also the assistant ( also blond ) two locks further downstream was also very
easy on the eye

What I want to know is WHO INTERVIEWS these ladies for the job and

CAN I sit in on the panel!!!

Warm regards for bringing a smile to my face

Hi Leslie

Your welcome. Yes methinks we'd be better back up in the North Shannon for a few seasons. Too much eye candy up that way! smiling smiley smiling smiley Forbes, Boderg, Key, Garadice, and Drumharlow must be Ireland's classeyest boating hot spots. smiling smiley

Speaking of which did you see the article in the Sunday Times business
section where Frank O Donnell attributes his business success to boating on
the Shannon !!!!
