Appeal against development at Oldcourt, Terryglass

Robert, as one who resides in Killaloe I would have to disagree with your
inclusion of Killaloe in that statement. There has not been a huge amount of
development in Killaloe and it has been tasteful. On the other hand the
development in Ballina - Cullinagh in particular - is appalling and yes is
an example of how not to develop.

With best nautical regards,

Maurice

The real misfortune for those who live in Killaloe is the fact that they
have as their view the mish-mash on the Ballina side while those who live in
this mish mash don't see it, but see Killaloe instead.

And now the developer of the old Derg Line site wishes to erect multi-storey
appartments ! Presumably these will block the view of those existing houses
behind the marina but are also really going to be the boil on the bum to
Killaloe residents.

Phillistines are alive and well and living in Ireland.

Actually, the Philistines are a much maligned people, and were really
quite an advanced and artistic culture.
