Efforts to free lifeboat off Rathlin resume

Good luck to the recovery crew.
I would not like to be at sea today (or even on the lake).
And tomorrow is St. Brigid's Day.
Despite the poem
"Is tar eis na f?ile Br?de ard?idh m? mo sheol."
a few more days by the fire sounds good..

"Further attempts will be made today to recover a lifeboat that was
swept onto rocks off Rathlin Island on Tuesday night.
The Portrush lifeboat was thrown on to the rocks by a huge wave as its
crew attended an emergency call from a rib boat.
No one was injured, and the people aboard the rib boat were taken to
safety by Rathlin Coastguard.
A Garda helicopter assisted the RNLI in its efforts to refloat the vessel.
Attempts by a tugboat from Derry and local fishermen to free the
lifeboat failed yesterday."
