Antifouling, copper vs conventional ( freshwater)
31 January, 2018 09:42
Does anyone out there have experience/opinions on copper vs conventional antifouling?
I'm talking about a 38ft fiberglass hull which already has it's twenty years of conventional antifouling abraded off and two coats of epoxy applied, so all of the usual hard work associated with Copper coating has already been done.
Expensive though with the materials costing in the region of £1350. Rumour has it though that there is over 10yrs of life in a treatment.....
