I'm looking for a Marine Electrician to do a series of jobs on a canal barge in Celbridge.

Can anyone recommend one please, they appears to be like hens teeth.

Thank You,

Marine electrician, auto electrician, motor bike enthusiast. Basically little difference. 12volt or 24 volt systems with a generator thrown in. Must be some lads good with a multimeter up your way. I would even try a post on the notice board in your local supermarket. Though you may need a guy with some free time and patience depending on the job.

This old thread on IWAI contained some names, and I can vouch for Paul Cunningham.

Despite the age of the thread, his contact details are correct. In addition Paul can be contacted at

Anyone recommend a good surveyor around the midlands/north shannon.
