There are a few private moorings at the upper end of navigation (about a mile to a mile and a half), a few hundred meters beyond that it starts to become shallower and narrower. Just one thing I noticed, Mizen Head CG station. Having done work experience in Dublin with the coast guard I found out much interesting information. One peice of info is just this, there are currently 3 active operation centres (radio rooms). They are Dublin, Valencia and Malin head.
