Welcome visitor,
Please help us to help your fellow country people by translating the text
below to your language.
Welcome to the website of the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland.
The association is a voluntary body, made up of people who love the
Irish inland waterways. We have branches on the rivers Shannon, Erne,
Corrib, Lower Bann, Lagan, Barrow and Slaney and on the Coalisland and Grand
Canals.
Our website aims to provide the widest range of information about the
waterways, but unfortunately it is all in English. If you need
information that is not provided on the website, please use our
contact page. One of our volunteers will
respond to you.
We are not the navigation authority (see
www.waterwaysireland.org) and
we do not provide cruising holidays (see www.iwai.ie/rentals/ ).
If you enjoy our waterways, you are welcome to
join the association. You will receive our magazine
Inland Waterways
News four times a year and you will be entitled to certain
discounts when you are in Ireland.
We hope you will enjoy your time in Ireland.
