Reports related to the Ulster Canal:
A range of reports are found
here
incl.
2006: Waterways Ireland have released the Feasibility/Socio Economic
study that they were working on in relation to the Ulster Canal. They
were asked by the two ministers late last year to revise the costs and
so-on for restoring the two ends of the canal and to produce a
socio-economic report on same.
All the documents are on the Dept. of Community Rural and Gaeltacht
Affairs web-site on the North South Co-operation pages.

Scroll right down to the bottom and you'll see the reports. (They are
pretty big)
The socio-economic report (not the technical stuff) is also on the WI
website at

IWAI has made an application under the Interreg III programme for
funding to begin restoration work on the Ulster Canal. A document
explaining the proposals can be found
