Generally, boats hired on the Shannon can travel the whole Shannon system, the Shannon-Erne Waterway and the -Erne system  - essentially all of the waterways covered by the online map.
There are some restrictions for larger boats entering the Lough Allen canal and the Shannon-Erne Waterway.  Check with the company you rent from.
