Issue: 13:Ballyellen Lock Balance Beam overhangs River
|

Description: The end of the balance beam on the river side of the deep gates at Ballyellen Lock over hangs the river. A user unfamiliar with the area can slip and fall into the river when shutting the gate, especially if the bank is overgrown with grass and bushes.
|
|
Solution?: Signage on the balance beam would be a a help.
|
|
Action: WI have been notified following a recent accident.
