Issue: 24:Marking of Rock in Clondavaun Bay
Description: There is a snag shown on the old Admiralty Chart (5080) approx 0.2NM east of Friars Island. This snag is a hazard for vessels entering the Cappagh River, especially from the Terryglass direction. It is shown on the old charts as being marked with a bouy but this is no longer the case. At normal summer levels there is less than 1m of water at this point.
Solution?: Mark the snag with a suitable buoy or stake.
