| Issue: 34:Garrykennedy old Harbour | ||
|
Description: There are NO mooring posts or bollards to tie up to on the East side of the Harbour. The Crash barrier (which people used to tie to) is now falling down and dangerous. Access to the steps down to the water in this area is dangerous* and needs attention. Aabove the steps is grass which slopes down to the stone steps, there is no hand rail and this area gets slippy when wet. There appears to be some dispute between WI and Tipp. NR Co Co as to who owns and controls the old stone harbour. |
||
| Solution?: Mooring bollards need to be installed and the steps and crash-barrier repaired. | ||
| Action: WI have been notified by Lough Derg Branch. | ||
| Update: | ||
| Owner: WI and North Tipp Co. Co. | ||
