John

It looks a very interesting event and I hope to be there myself. The jetty at Crom is very small so is there any facilities set up for visiting boats or shall we anchor off.

Hi Tom we will be putting down temp. moorings for visiting Yachts but Cruisers and Barges will have to raft up, but we will be working with Water Ways to look after all visitors Big Red

Didn't know about that, or the LECBA, all good stuff, hope the event is a big success and for once I hope it rains to give them some water up there! LEYC had to move from Crom many years ago because successive Lough lowerings reduced the area and depth of available water, although it returned to those levels back in Nov 09 albeit only for a short time. Definitely will have to get a boat back on the water for that weekend.

LECBA is really the Fairy fleet of the Lough Erne Yacht Club but we had to call ourselves an association for funding etc. Hope to see you all there for my sins I’m the fleet captain this year but will be a few years before my boat ( Paxie no8 ) will be afloat

John. looks like you might get your wish tomorrow, up to 25mm of rain looks possible, that'll bring the upper Lough up by 150mm or thereabouts,Alun
