Anybody know....
Was 77M purpose built as a dredger...? Looking at Kens pics, her front is
much lower than an M boat but does'nt look to have been cut down.

According to D'Arcy she was a standard M boat. One of the last 3 built by
Ringsend Dockyard Co.
and the oracle (CMCW) says she was cut down to take the Priestman dredger.

note how clean 77m's bottom is after all the years without movement. It must be down to the very high water quality of the Barrow
