RNLI rescue 9 from Drominagh Point stranding
31 March, 2019 22:25

Got a phone call this AM from a chap who said he was on a boat stranded on Drominagh Point on L. Derg. Not quite sure why he called IWAI but it may be he had called the directory enquiries looking for who to contact and was given the IWAI LoCall number. Naturally I advised him to call 999/112 and ask for the coastguard which they seem to have done.

Clare Herald report here:

Lough Derg RNLI seem to have performed their usual efficient service.

Other media carrying similar stories.

Best Wishes,
GMY Chang Sha
