I have not been on the Lecarrow canal for some time now and was wondering if it is suited to a 40`cruiser with a 3`draft. I have travelled on the canal many years ago with a much smaller craft and would like to visit Lecarrow again. Many Thanks

Hello Paddy. I have been up to Lecarrow recently in a 52ft cruiser and I had no difficulty whatsoever. I strongly suggest that you trottle right back and cruise at idling speed as you enter the canal. This will prevent any recently cut weeds from clogging your engine water-cooling filters. The trip will take about 25 minutes. Enjoy

Hi Paddy the rule at Lecarrow is to check you weed filters when you go in and again when you come out into Blackbrink Bay. It's a nice place to visit.
