The Corbally Canal, stretches eight kilometres from Naas to Corbally Harbour located beside the road that leads to Athgarvan, Kilcullen and Newbridge. Unfortunately, in the 1950s the R445 was built across the canal making it impassable for boaters and walkers. The IWAI is campaigning for a bridge and removal of the culvert, so everyone has a public amenity to walk, cycle or navigate in safety, along this stretch of the Corbally Canal.
