HBA boats arrive in Harbour throughout the day. Boats dressed in flags, bunting, lights, washing lines! Our hosts, IWAI Royal Canal, will judge the best boat.
1900 – Evening Barbeque
Sunday 15
1100 – Walk (3.6 km) along the Lough Owel Feeder towpath from Mullingar Harbour to Lough Owel, passing Mullingar Famine Graveyard and Cullion Fish Farm along the way. Local historian Seamus O’Brien will give us a talk on the Famine Graveyard
1300 – Tea, coffee, snack lunch at Mullingar Sailing Club
1430 – Lake trip on small boats courtesy of IWAI Dublin – weather permitting
1700 – Back to Mullingar Harbour to wrap up.
