The Guide outlines the navigational features and attractions of the Lower Barrow, Nore & Suir Rivers from Graiguenamanagh, Inistioge and Carrick on Suir to Waterford Estuary with Hook Lighthouse on the eastern headland and Dunmore East on the western. This publication is a Rising Tide outcome (an Ireland/Wales INTERREG 4A Maritime Heritage project, which also supported the boat building and community festivals with the John F Kennedy Trust, New Ross Town Council and Kilkenny Leader Partnership). The information has been sourced from the Barrow Guide, Waterways Ireland, the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland, A Guide to Carrick on Suir, and following a consultation process with river users and site visits.
